Professional Structural Engineer – Mining Full Time

An established engineering design consultancy is seeking a capable and detail-driven Professional Structural Engineer to join their Cape Town based team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex engineering projects across the marine, mining, and industrial sectors, with full project involvement from concept through to commissioning.

Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA
• Demonstrated experience in structural engineering within heavy engineering environments (mining sector exposure is preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities:
• Undertake structural design, modelling, and analysis for complex infrastructure projects
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, reports, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements
• Provide technical input throughout design, fabrication, and construction stages
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
