Geometric Roads Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Geometric Roads Engineer to join its Roads Department in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage geometric road design projects from concept through to completion.
• Prepare and review geometric road designs using Civil 3D.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Ensure designs comply with SANRAL standards and relevant engineering guidelines.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
• Contribute to project planning, quality assurance, and programme management.

Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related qualification.
• Experience in geometric road design.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D modelling.
• Previous experience working on SANRAL projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage project delivery.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of South African road design standards and best practices.
