Senior Engineering Draughtsperson – Structural Design Full Time NEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Draughtsperson to join their team in Pretoria. This opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled professional with extensive experience in structural drafting, BIM modelling and the delivery of accurate, construction-ready engineering drawings.

Requirements:
• At least 8–10 years of experience in managing and executing projects.
• Education: National Diploma in Civil Engineering or a relevant draughting qualification.
• Strong knowledge of building structures, with civil structures experience considered an advantage.
• Advanced working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience in BIM modelling, structural draughting and rebar detailing.
• Excellent communication, organisational and coordination abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain structural BIM models and engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Complete reinforcement detailing in line with engineering requirements.
• Convert specifications and design information into clear drawings suitable for construction.
• Ensure drawings accurately define the scope of work and minimise ambiguity during execution.
• Participate in inspections and project meetings during the execution phase, where required.
• Uphold ISO 9001 quality requirements and applicable drawing standards.
