Candidate Quantity Surveyor Full Time

An exciting opportunity exists for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s established consulting practice in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cost management services across a range of residential and commercial developments, working within a collaborative and professional environment.

Requirements:
• BSc or BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying
• 2–5 years’ consulting Quantity Surveying experience
• Registration with SACQSP as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor
• Exposure to residential and commercial construction projects
• Good understanding of the full Quantity Surveying function
• Knowledge of JBCC contracts; FIDIC knowledge is beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies
• Compile bills of quantities and tender documentation
• Assist with procurement and tender evaluations
• Manage cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects within agreed budgets and timelines
