Are you an experienced Electrical BIM Modeller looking to take the lead on technically exciting building and infrastructure projects?
Our client, a respected consulting engineering firm specializing in electrical, mechanical, and renewable energy solutions, is looking for a Senior Electrical BIM Modeller to join their team in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality building services designs while working with experienced engineers and cutting-edge BIM technology.
Requirements:
• 10+ years relevant experience working in electrical BIM modelling within a consulting space
• Education: Multi-Disciplinary Draughting Certificate
• Proven experience modelling building services electrical systems (residential, retail, industrial, commercial)
• Proficient in BIM 360 and Revit MEP
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models for building services projects
• Produce high-quality electrical layouts, schematics, and construction documentation
• Collaborate with electrical engineers and multidisciplinary design teams
• Coordinate models and assist with clash detection and BIM coordination
• Ensure all models comply with project BIM standards and protocols
