Candidate Quantity Surveyor Full Time

Our client is a respected quantity surveying consultancy delivering professional cost management and commercial advisory services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare, education, and infrastructure developments. Requirements:
• Minimum 2-6 years’ post-graduate experience within a quantity surveying consultancy
• BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying
• Candidate registration with SACQSP advantageous or working towards professional registration
• Sound knowledge of quantity surveying principles and standard methods of measurement
• Experience with cost planning, estimates, bills of quantities, and contract administration advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Cost X, DimX and WinQS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities:
• Assist with cost planning, budgeting, and feasibility estimates
• Prepare bills of quantities and tender documentation
• Measure quantities and prepare cost reports throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with contract administration, valuations, and payment certificates
• Monitor project costs and identify cost variations
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Attend site visits and project meetings as required
• Support senior quantity surveyors in the successful delivery of multiple projects
• Maintain accurate project records and commercial documentation
