Tool Room Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tool Room Manager to join a leading plastic manufacturing operation in Gauteng. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all tooling activities to ensure optimal production performance, consistent product quality, and minimal downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the toolroom function, managing the maintenance, repair, and availability of moulds, dies, jigs, and fixtures used across production. You will play a key role in supporting injection moulding operations by ensuring tooling is production-ready, reliable, and aligned with operational demands.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Trade Test Tool, Jig and Die Maker
• 10 years’ experience in a Tool Room manufacturing environment
• Within a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Tool Room Management Role
• Understanding of Thermoforming Materials
