Senior Wind Engineer Full Time

Our client is a one of the leading Independent Power Producers (IPP) and they’re seeking to hire a Senior Engineer to join in on their success !

You will be a key contributor to the development and execution of wind energy projects within the renewable energy sector. Based in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) department, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise across multiple business units. Your primary focus will be overseeing the technical aspects of project development, including design, construction, technical support, commissioning, and final project delivery.

Requirements:
• BEng / BSc / MSc / MEng in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic or Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated success in executing and delivering utility-scale wind energy projects through all stages of construction.
• 10 years of experience in the utility-scale wind sector, with a strong focus on engineering and technical project delivery.
• Skilled in design and analysis software including Openwind, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS applications.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and technical standards relevant to the South African wind industry, including NERSA, Eskom procedures, SANS, IEC, and related specifications.
