My client is looking for Senior .NET Engineer – Backend Focused, based in Midrand, to join their team! Please note this role has a Hybrid work model (3 days in office per week).
Requirements:
• 5–7 years professional software development experience.
• Strong backend experience with ASP.NET Core and C# (3+ years).
• Front-end experience with React (2+ years).
• Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, clean code, integration, and testing practices.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Ability to optimise applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Comfortable working in agile teams (sprint planning, stand-ups, retros).
• Ability to mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Willingness to complete technical assessments (where applicable).
