Senior Estimator – Civils Full Time

Requirements:
• BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 10 years civils estimating experience.
• Proven ability to develop professional tenders in roads & earthworks construction projects.
• Experience working for a large contractor on projects exceeding R300 million.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• CCS experience advantageous.
• Registration with an accredited estimating governance institute advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Pricing of tenders.
• Leading tender submissions.
• Estimating and developing systems for estimating.
• Development and updating of Candy templates.
• Development of the interface between Candy reports and BuildSmart.
• Foster relationships and negotiating prices with suppliers.
• Securing new contracts for the company, including estimating and the pricing/programming of such work.
• Interact with your existing contacts within the industry to secure contracts for the company.
• Develop CCS software templates and master files for pricing contracts.
• Assist site contract managers in the pricing of site variations.
