Requirements:
• B.Eng / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech.Eng (essential)
• At least 5 years of experience in the design and construction management of Eskom and municipal electrical distribution substations (11–132 kV), with a strong focus on Primary Plant and thorough knowledge of Eskom, NRS, and IEEE standards
• Experience in Electrical and Renewable Energy Master Planning
• Solid understanding of MV and LV reticulation networks, including Eskom and renewable energy systems, within a multi-disciplinary project environment
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and Grid Code Compliance is a plus
• HV line design experience will be an added advantage

Software proficiency:
• Skilled in MicroStation and AutoCAD
• Experience with CDEGS (AutoGrid Pro)
• Knowledge of PLS-CADD is advantageous
• Familiarity with ETAP or DIgSILENT will be beneficial
