Professional Quantity Surveyor Full Time

Our client is seeking a highly capable Professional Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and financial aspects of construction projects. This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to successful project delivery while ensuring strong cost control and contractual compliance.

Requirements:
• Manage project costs from inception through to completion.
• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, tender documentation and financial reports.
• Monitor project expenditure, budgets and cost variations.
• Evaluate tenders and assist with contractor and supplier negotiations.
• Prepare and assess valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
• Manage contractual claims, variations and commercial risks.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• BSc/BTech degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification.
• Professional registration with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP).
• Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the construction or built environment sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, contracts and construction processes.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in relevant industry software and Microsoft Office.
