Requirements:
• BSc (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech is required.
• Registered Bridge Inspector certification would be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in bridge design.
• Proficient in Finite Element Design Software, including Sofistik, Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Experienced in preparing contract documentation, technical specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Familiarity with SANRAL processes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of bridge hydrology and hydraulics would be beneficial.
• Experience in the design of feature bridges is a strong advantage.
