Senior Commercial Manager Full Time

They are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to step into a strategic role within their business – someone who thrives on responsibility, is meticulous with detail and passionate about driving commercial excellence across high value projects.

As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will sit at the helm of project financials, contract strategy and risk management – playing a pivotal role in ensuring profitability, compliance and long term success. Your leadership will shape how projects are delivered and how they grow.

Requirements:
• BSc (Hons) in Engineering/ Construction Management/ Quantity Surveying
• At least 10 years’ experience in the construction industry
• Experience leading design building/ Civil / EPC projects
• Professional registration with SACQSP
• Proficient in CCS and Build Smart

Responsibilities:
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and variation management
• Ensure cost control and budget adherence
• Produce financial reports for senior leadership
• Handle claims and disputes to protect project interests
• Work closely with planning teams to identify and optimize claims opportunities
