SAS AML Test Automation Specialist Full Time NEW

Our client requires a technically strong SAS AML Test Automation Specialist to support the testing and quality assurance of an enterprise AML environment. The successful candidate will combine advanced automation capabilities with SAS and SQL expertise to validate AML scenarios, data pipelines and system integrations.

What You Will Do:
• Develop automated testing frameworks tailored to the SAS AML platform.
• Automate functional testing across web interfaces, APIs and backend data.
• Design test cases for new and existing AML scenarios and rules.
• Validate source-to-target data flows and ensure data transformations are accurate.
• Use SAS and SQL to compare datasets and identify data integrity issues.
• Build automated regression suites to support ongoing releases.
• Execute automated tests through CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate failures, identify root causes and log defects through JIRA.
• Develop performance and load-testing scripts where required.
• Work alongside SAS Developers, Business Analysts and Compliance teams.
• Convert technical specifications and regulatory requirements into comprehensive testing scenarios.
• Maintain test plans, test cases, automation scripts and quality documentation.

Required Technical Capability:
• Minimum 5 years’ SAS AML experience.
• Advanced Base SAS, SAS Macro and SAS/SQL skills.
• Advanced SQL, including complex queries, joins and data comparisons.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, Teradata or Snowflake.
• Expert automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete or similar tools.
• Strong Python, Java or JavaScript scripting capability.
• Experience with Shell/Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of PyTest, TestNG, JUnit and/or Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Experience with Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD.
• Practical experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Hands-on understanding of SAS AML scenario and case management.
• Knowledge of SAS AML data models.
• Exposure to SAS Data Integration or other ETL technologies.

Desirable Experience:
• ISTQB Test Automation Engineer certification.
• SAS certification, including Base Programmer or Advanced Programmer.
• SAS AML Scenario Administration certification.
• CAMS or ICA Diploma.
• API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
• Playwright or other modern automation frameworks.
• PROC COMPARE and automated SAS data validation.
• Experience testing integrations between AML platforms and banking systems.
