Renewable Energy Engineer Full Time

They are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Solar PV Engineer to join their Cape Town-based team, where you’ll collaborate with a skilled group of industry professionals on impactful renewable energy projects.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within renewable energy
• Familiar with technical due diligence on SOLAR/BESS and/or WIND projects
• Been involved in both feasibility studies and project execution phases, including technical assessments, performance analysis, and system optimization

Responsibilities:
• Perform technical feasibility studies
• Manage the project and oversee its progress from start to finish
• Manage the project under construction and provide follow-up reporting
• Review contracts and overall project design, technology, and suggest potential improvements
• Perform the energy yield calculations using industry-recognised software tools and internal tools and processes
