Principal Mechanical Engineer Full Time

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across diverse sectors, is looking for a highly skilled Principle Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This opportunity will allow you to lead and manage mechanical engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery of innovative and cost-effective solutions. It involves providing technical expertise, overseeing design and project execution and mentoring a team of engineers.

Requirements:
• BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ design and detailing experience of HVAC and plumbing systems for various types of buildings
• Professional registration with ECSA
• Understanding of thermal modelling of building for SANS 10400-XA rational designs
• Understanding of MS Office, AutoCAD and thermal modelling software

Responsibilities:
• Oversee a wide range of building related wet services and HVAC projects
• Ensuring the fulfilment of technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service goals
• Managing and organizing resources and work order to produce necessary design documentation, drawing and calculations
• Supporting colleagues
