Manufacturing Engineer Full Time NEW

Our client seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to manage engineering and production operations in their steel manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for process optimisation, managing production teams and delivering engineering improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

Key Responsibilities
Analyse manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Lead engineering projects focused on process optimisation and equipment reliability
Support production teams with technical expertise and troubleshooting
Investigate recurring operational issues and implement sustainable engineering solutions
Develop standard operating procedures and engineering documentation
Monitor manufacturing KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational objectives

Minimum Requirements
BTech Mechanical/ Metallurgical Engineering
Experience in the steel or heavy manufacturing industry
Knowledge of manufacturing systems, production processes, and engineering principles
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement methodologies advantageous
Analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Project management and organisational abilities
