Health And Safety Manager Full Time

An opportunity has become available for a Health and Safety Manager to join our client’s Food FMCG manufacturing facility in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving health and safety compliance, reducing workplace risks, and ensuring a safe working environment across the facility

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programmes
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory health and safety requirements
Investigate incidents, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions
Coordinate health and safety training and awareness initiatives
Monitor contractor compliance and site safety performance
Prepare reports and maintain health and safety documentation
Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to achieve safety objectives

Minimum Requirements
Matric
Environmental Health Degree
SAMTRAC
3 – 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role within Food, FMCG, or manufacturing
Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and relevant legislation
Experience with ISO 45001, HACCP and food manufacturing environments
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
