Energy Specialist Full Time

Our client is seeking to hire a Renewable Energy Engineer Specialist to lead the technical design, analysis, and execution of renewable energy projects across South Africa.

This role requires a technically skilled professional with strong knowledge of solar, wind, biomass, hydro, and hybrid systems, contributing directly to South Africa’s energy transition goals under IRP and REIPPPP.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in renewable energy project execution
• Hands-on knowledge of solar PV, wind systems, and hybrid energy setups
• Proficient in PVsyst, AutoCAD, HOMER, MS Project, GIS tools
• Strong grasp of IRP 2019, REIPPPP, grid code compliance
• ECSA Professional Registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng – preferred/in progress)
