Our client is seeking an exceptional, highly experienced Contracts Manager to take full commercial ownership of major construction projects in Johannesburg and surrounding areas. This role is for a seasoned professional—someone who understands construction inside and out, thrives under pressure, and knows how to protect margins while delivering excellence. Requirements:
• 10+ years relevant experience in within the construction industry
• Education: BSc/ BTech in Construction Management or a related field
• Extensive experience on large scale construction projects
• Registration with SACQSP is advantageous
• Knowledge of JBCC
• Proficient in CCS
Responsibilities:
• Full lifecycle management of construction contracts, from tender award to final account
• Drafting, reviewing, and administering all contractual documentation
• Managing subcontractor agreements, variations, claims, and dispute resolution
• Leading commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Ensuring strict compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
