Audit Manager Full Time

We are currently seeking an Audit Manager to join our reputable client’s team.

Requirements:
• Completed SAICA articles (compulsory)
• CA(SA) designation preferred but not compulsory
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role of Audit Supervisor or Audit Manager within a small-to-medium sized audit practice
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, Income Tax Act, the Companies Act, and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
• Proficient in CaseWare Working Papers, Caseware Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership, people management, and professional communication skills
• High attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently

Experience with:
• Managing a portfolio of audit, independent review, and related assurance engagements from planning to completion
• Reviewing audit files, working papers, annual financial statements, and supporting documentation
• Supervising, mentoring, and developing audit staff and trainees
• Reviewing and approving SAICA trainee assessments and competencies on the SAICA Electronic Assessment Tool (E.A.T.) system
• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with clients
• Reviewing engagement budgets, timelines, team allocations, and file profitability
• Exposure to group audits, consolidations, independent reviews, and various industry audits (e.g., attorney trust audits, property practitioner audits)
